Well, few responses, below is the compilation.

We actually ended up using Mythos (www.mymythos.com), a company that had

approached Lunar a little while back. They specialize in teaming with

companies/individuals who don't have a presence in the Far East.

I was able to send them hand sketches, which they had five different

vendors quote (injection molding/sheetmetal). They were very helpful,

thorough and quick, and knew the Chinese market very well.

The guys at Moto have been doing A LOT of volume overseas manufacturing.

Depending on what you think of outsourcing to another firm, I would

highly recommend talking to Gregor Berkowitz (one of the principals). In

the interests of disclosure, I've been consulting there full time since

June. Regardless though - they really have a handle on this right now.

Subject: Far East Estimator...

I'm in need of a consultant who can look at a consumer product made up

of injection molded and metal stamped parts, and provide cost figures

for tooling and unit cost in the Far East, with the ability to resolve

cost differences in yearly units from 50K to 1 Million.

Any information on a resource that you know of, or ideally have had
