We have used Greener Printer in Berkeley for a number of years. They do high quality work. Occasionally color matching is a bit of a problem, but I have not found this to be any better any place else.
We appreciate their focus on sustainability and they are local and usually pretty accommodating to rush jobs and the like. Their prices are definitely in the middle to high end.
Note we have only used them for printing – business cards, marketing materials, and some paperboard packaging. We have not used them for heavier packaging or complex construction challenges.
Another group to consider for more complex die cutting and packaging is O’Dell printing. We have used them for retail wraps and other point of purchase elements.
