I've gotten a lot of mileage out of Robert A. Malloy's

"Plastic Part Design for Injection Molding, An

Introduction", published by Hanser.

 

It's got Mold Filling, Gating, Weld Lines, Warpage,

Ejection, Rapid Prototyping, Press Fits, Snap Fits,

Ultrasonic Welding and much much more. I laughed, I cried.

 

For the economical minded or the mind that wants the

knowledge pronto, GE plastics puts out a decent design

guide for injection molding (it is not as thorough, but a

good starter):
